UN Women

CHALLENGE: UN Women wanted to address gender equality issues in the media and raise awareness and funds to benefit the #HeForShe global campaign created by UN Women with ambassador Emma Watson.

RESPONSE: We strategized on how to bring the most attention to this cultural hot point and then, based on our research, created the high-profile, invite-only event, #HeForShe LA Media Summit. For maximum impact, we selected the city with arguably the highest cultural visibility and orchestrated strategic partnerships, including media powerhouse YouTube as host. Our event elevated exposure of the issues and provided an even stronger platform for outspoken celebrity activists.

RESULT: The #HeForShe LA Media Summit was the most successful event to date for both YouTube and UN Women nationally. The evening was at capacity, with more than 300 VIP guests, celebrities and influencers in attendance. Our diverse panel, which included CNN moderator Carol Costello, Academy Award Winner Patricia Arquette, a top CAA agent, the founder of The Black List, and more, also garnered over 1 million digital impressions from top tier media outlets Variety, CNN, Huffington Post, and more.

TED

CHALLENGE: TED asked us to help secure high-end strategic partnerships for their annual invite-only events such as the annual TED conference, TED Women, TED Global and the TED Summit.

RESPONSE: Following an intense study in perceptions of the TED brand, we discovered an opportunity to re-establish TED’s non-profit mission as an intellectual stimulus driver that leading consumer brands would benefit from in long-term partnership. On that platform, we coordinated strategic outreach and negotiated multiple sponsorship deals to help TED secure and maintain millions in annual funding.

RESULT: We connected TED to numerous brands that perfectly aligned with their demographics and goals and helped ensure brands including American Express, BMW and the world’s top financial institutions maintained an ongoing and prominent presence at TED private dinners, conferences and more. These partnerships are critical to TED’s success as a non-profit and continue to make TED events some of the most coveted tickets by CEO’s and influencers such as Elon Musk, Eric Schmidt and an ever-evolving list of celebrities.

TeTransfer

WeTransfer

CHALLENGE: WeTransfer is the largest file transferring service in the world. They needed a solid team to introduce the WeTransfer President to the US market as he spearheaded the company’s expansion in the region.

RESPONSE: Create a press and brand strategy around the US launch raising the profile of both the company and president by building an innovative web presence, social media, and speaking campaigns.

RESULT: We got people talking and landed features in prominent outlets such as Fast Co., Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and more. We brokered strategic partnerships with non-profits such as the United Nations. The president spoke at numerous events, from TeachWeek to the Collision Conference, and authored articles we secured for him in major publications such as Fortune.

Google

CHALLENGE: When Google started Google+, they reached out to us to design the look of their largest community.

RESPONSE: We created a digital main street to represent the community’s collective knowledge. Each building symbolizes a different discussion topic.

RESULT: This culminated in a popular, vibrant look that not only complimented and fit within Google’s existing aesthetic but could grow and evolve with the community over time.
